Students at Cognita’s London schools celebrate excellent GCSE and A level results
Students at Cognita’s London schools celebrated excellent A level and GCSE results last week, laying a strong foundation for the next chapters of their lives.
At North Bridge House Senior Canonbury, 38% of A levels were at grade A*-A and 64% were at grade A*-B, with 100% at A*-A in Italian, and 100% in Art, Classical Civilisation, English, Further Maths, Geography and History at A*-B. At GCSE level, 57% of grades were at 7-9, with 94% at 5-9 in English Language and Maths, 78% at 7-9 in Computer Science and 100% at 7-9 in Spanish.
The Class of 2025 has secured places at a wide range of competitive universities in the UK and overseas, including Newcastle, Durham, Leeds, York, Nottingham, Queen Mary University of London, Brunel, Birkbeck, and the University of Minnesota, reading subjects including Architecture, Chemistry, Classical Civilisation, Global Politics, History, International Relations, Maths and Economics, Physiotherapy, and Politics with International Relations.
At North Bridge House Senior Hampstead (which becomes Alleyn’s Hampstead in September 2026), 44% of GCSE grades were at 7 or above and over a quarter were at grade 8 or above. In Computer Science, 90% of grades were at 7–9 and 42% of grades in Fine Art were at 8 & 9.
Top performer, Radhika Singhal, achieved seven grade 9s and two 8s in subjects spanning STEM to Drama – a prime example of NBH Hampstead’s broad curriculum at GCSE and the ability for students to explore their individual interests through the school’s flexible option system.
