Students at Stephen Perse Cambridge celebrate outstanding GCSE results
Students at Stephen Perse Cambridge Senior School are celebrating exceptional GCSE results, with 77.6% of GCSEs graded at 7, 8 or 9.
GCSE highlights:
- 33.7% of GCSEs graded 9
- 58.5% of GCSEs graded 9-8
- 77.6% of GCSEs graded 9-7
- 15.9% of students achieving at least 8 GCSEs at grade 9
- 17.7% of students achieving 8 or 9 in all their subjects
Stephen Ward, the current Vice-Principal and Head of 11-18 who will be taking on the role of Principal from September 2026, said: “We are incredibly proud of everything this year’s GCSE students have accomplished. Their achievements are a testament to the determination and positive attitude to learning that they have demonstrated throughout, as well as to all the support they have received from their families and teachers. We are now very much looking forward to seeing so many of them moving onto A Level study in our Sixth Form, where we know they will go from strength to strength.”
Kseniia K., who will be studying Psychology, Sociology and English Literature A Levels at Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “I am very pleased with my results and I’m looking forward to studying at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form.”
Thomas K., who will be studying Philosophy, English, History and Classical Civilisation A Levels at Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “ My time at Stephen Perse Cambridge and the support of my teachers has helped me to achieve my results.”
Natalie G., who will be studying Biology, English, Drama and Psychology A Levels at Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “ I am really happy! I’m really looking forward to continuing my studies at Stephen Perse Cambridge Sixth Form”
Dunila H., who will be studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Spanish A Levels at Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “I think the photo shows how I feel!”
Abel PB., who will be studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry A Levels at Stephen Perse Cambridge, said: “I am really happy. Thank you to my supportive teachers.”
