Exploring the Future of Global Mobility
As Relocate and Relocate Global celebrates its 20th anniversary this year we are looking forward to exploring the future of global mobility with you.
For us Think Global People is the future offering a wider perspective and the opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge across global mobility and to connect and collaborate with talent and organisations around the world.
We have been developing a multimedia with a lens that is multi-faceted, able to pull together industry sector knowledge, case studies and trends at a local, regional and global level. Now is the time to push the boundaries and collaborate further to solve some of the big issues facing leaders and organisations.
I have been reflecting on our exhilarating journey. What started as a UK magazine has evolved into a multimedia organisation with a global audience. I have witnessed the global mobility function become a key stakeholder within business growth as organisations have sought to increase their global presence.
The need to move talent around the world to fill skills gaps, develop people and deliver projects, provide support for their families, source homes and education for their children and develop future international leadership capability is as paramount as ever.
I welcome the growing number of exciting opportunities in the global mobility sector, the growth in expertise and talent and the importance companies place on their employees’ experience. Putting people first will remain vital over the next 20 years.
The technological developments over the past 20 years have facilitated unprecedented levels of global connectivity, enabling individuals and businesses to communicate instantly and effectively across borders, time zones and cultures.
We are witnessing incredible advances in AI and automation. AI-powered chatbots provide 24/7 customer support in multiple languages, expanding businesses’ global reach. Machine translation technologies are breaking down language barriers in real-time communication and AI is being used to create targeted marketing campaigns and personalised content for global audiences.
As a multimedia organisation’s founder and managing director, I have a positive outlook on the future and the changes it will bring.T
hink Global People continues to work at the forefront of change, identifying future trends, providing thought leadership content, driving conversation, cultivating strategic networks, and creating opportunities, through our publications, websites, podcast and events to support those working in the global mobility, leadership, and education sectors.
