King’s InterHigh is an independent British international online school offering Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form education. We bring students aged 7-19 a high-quality education that revolves around their needs and interests as they work towards their International GCSEs and A Levels, all with the backing of Inspired: one of the world’s leading education groups.

The original online school, King’s InterHigh has been educating students online since 2005 with high-quality live and recorded lessons accessible from anywhere in the world. In addition to the school’s existing time zone choices (GMT and GST), King’s InterHigh is now broadening options for global students with an Asia Pacific timetable, launching in September 2023.

With small class sizes, interactive learning, flexibility, and lots happening outside the classroom, King’s InterHigh is a full school experience designed to fit around each individual’s lifestyle, giving families an edge over traditional mainstream schooling.

The school is an extraordinary blend of expertise, bringing together more than 17 years of unparalleled online education experience and 50 years of academic excellence across the King’s College Group. With over 10,000 alumni who have graduated to fulfilling careers and further studies so far, King’s InterHigh is a thriving global learning community.

Combining a proven educational model with innovative delivery, teachers bring lessons to life using cutting-edge technologies and engaging activities. Each learner also has access to their very own personalised learning pathway, powered by AI and filled with interactive activities that help them master their studies. Students are encouraged to participate and collaborate in a variety of ways (with a range of communication options to suit all learners), and lessons are free from the confines and distractions sometimes present in a traditional educational setting.

With a diverse community of learners from around the world, King’s InterHigh fosters a strong sense of belonging, collaboration, and camaraderie. Students can enjoy a range of clubs and assemblies or chat with friends at any time through the school’s safe social media platform and common rooms. Every student is part of a tight-knit house, and these house groups are brought together through friendly competitions, school-wide festivals, and more.

As part of the Inspired community, a collective of over 100 top schools across five continents, King’s InterHigh students also benefit from a range of in-person learning opportunities, as well as exchange programmes, summer camps, and virtual events.

In addition, students can take advantage of personalised sessions with tutors to ensure they get the support and guidance they need — both in their academics and their wellbeing.

Alongside academics and social activities, learners are supported in their wellbeing with nurturing, expert guidance throughout their studies. The online environment is designed to be inclusive and student-centered, with a range of additional services on offer for neurodivergent young people and students with mental health needs or special educational needs (SEN). Parents and guardians have 24-hour access to schedules, grades, reports, and communications through their own online portal, so it’s easy for families to stay involved.

Making the Most of Precious Moments

Exam results at King’s InterHigh are outstanding for a non-selective school, with graduates going on to UK and international universities as well as careers in a variety of fields. In 2023, 43% of King’s InterHigh students achieved an A or A* in their A Levels, while 48% of graduates progressing to university were accepted to Russell Group institutions (including Oxbridge). Numerous King’s InterHigh students are also active in the arts and sports, with many using online learning to balance education with their professional acting or athletics careers.

All in all, the school offers a truly innovative and personalised approach to learning, preparing students for bright aspirations and the world of the future.
