What elections mean for global mobility in 2024
The political representatives of around 49% of the world’s population are set to be decided in 2024. Roberta Carnaccini, global immigration director at Crown World Mobility, explores the impact on global mobility.
Elections are either due to take place, are currently taking place, or have already taken place in 60 countries, including the EU. Countries where election fever has hit or is due to hit include Taiwan, Pakistan and Mozambique, in addition to those generating headlines around the world in Russia, South Africa, India, France, the United States and, of course, the UK.
Every election has the potential to impact global mobility as it brings changes in government and policy.
