Welcome to Nexus, an exceptional international school for students aged 3-18 that promises a quality education in Singapore for your child.

At Nexus International School (Singapore), we work with learners to find and develop their potential. We offer a future-facing education, which focuses on making learning as authentic as possible. At Nexus, learners are challenged to solve complex problems by applying their knowledge to novel situations. At Nexus, our curriculums are designed to empower learners to participate in the global society with a growth-mindset. We offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, which challenges learners to think critically and encourages them to drive their own learning by equipping them with life skills to adapt, innovate, and communicate confidently.

We also cultivate open and creative mindsets, allowing our learners to take risks, make mistakes and try new things.  To create an inclusive environment, our learners are taught how to build strong supportive relationships, understand their own impulses, and develop empathy for others. These skills and beliefs are based on the Nexus Way, our school’s guiding philosophy. It comes across in everything we do, even within our innovative open-space classrooms.

As each learner has their own unique learning style and preferences, we believe that teaching need not be confined to four walls. As our learners are truly at the centre of everything we do, all our classrooms were designed by teachers to create environments that facilitate as many types of learning as possible. Each learner is allowed to thrive in these flexible and adaptable spaces and is encouraged to exercise their learner agency to use the space in a way that best suits their learning style.

Not limited to just our classroom, learners are given access to world-class facilities across the campus. Musicians have access to recording studios, mixing rooms and jamming rooms so they can work on complete projects, while our resident artists have opportunities to experiment with different mediums including a kiln and design & technology room.

Younger learners enjoy dedicated play spaces, including a two-story tree house and fundamentals room, while our parents are able to enjoy the parent lounge and on-campus co-working spaces.

Our sports department also worked together to design the FIFA and World Rugby-specified Astroturf pitch, a fundamentals room for younger learners and an Olympic-sized pool with state-of-the-art touchpads so our swim squad can get accurate recordings.

With world-class facilities, extensive co-curricular activities and school trips, learners see the world from a global perspective and are taught to become independent through experiences within and beyond the classroom.

For a closer look at our award-winning campus, you can take a virtual tour on our website.

Nexus offers a technology-rich learning environment for our learners across our curriculum and co-curricular activities. We are one of the only five Apple Distinguished Schools in Singapore, recognised for our use of technology to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking that spurs continuous innovation.

Across our year groups, learners use iPads and MacBooks to access tools that spark learner engagement and enhance their unique learning journeys. They also use their devices to take notes, collaborate with peers and seek new information. Our campus is also equipped with ViewSonic screens with Airplay compatibility, allowing teachers and learners alike to project their devices seamlessly; this also allows for live-feedback in the classroom. Nexus also uses Seesaw and Canvas as learning management platforms that allow parents to receive prompt feedback and progress updates. Younger learners also have the opportunity to use iPads to document their achievements in class with pictures and videos that can be shared with parents.
