Our Outdoor Learning Initiative: ‘School in the Woods’
At Mougins School, we prioritise outdoor learning through our unique ‘School in the Woods’ programme, enhancing education and development. Particularly impactful in Early Years and Primary classes, this initiative sees students joyfully taking lessons outdoors. Educators thoughtfully integrate fun outdoor activities, aligning seamlessly with the curriculum. From maths challenges on the playground, to measuring tasks and engaging in activities like minibeast hunts, we strive to make learning both educational and enjoyable. The beautiful outdoors, conveniently at our doorstep, becomes a vital extension of our classrooms, fostering a dynamic and immersive learning environment for students.
